How to Submit a Letter to us.
Letters to the editor should only be sent to The Precious Stones Magazine, and not to other publications. We do not publish open letters or third-party letters.
Letters for publication should be no longer than 150 words, must refer to an article that has appeared within the last seven days, and must include the writer's address and phone numbers. No attachments, please.
We regret we cannot return or acknowledge unpublished letters. Writers of those letters selected for publication will be notified within a week. Letters may be shortened for space requirements.

How to Submit an Article
Precious Stones Magazine accepts opinion articles on any topic. The suggested length is 750 words, but submissions of any length will be considered. We ask that all submissions be sent exclusively to The magazine. We will not consider articles that have already been published in print or online. Submissions may be sent in any of these ways email krepreciousmag@yahoo.com, jpeg format, or pdf, we will accept some word documents providing they are proof written.
Please note that e-mailed articles should be pasted or typed into the body of the message.
We accept only one submission every 30 days for online publication.
FICTION:
We publish fiction online and in our print annual. For online publication, do not send more than 1,000 words. For print, do not send more than 5,000 words. Please double-space your submission.
ESSAYS:
We publish essays online and in our print annual. For online publication, do not send more than 2,000 words. For print, do not send more than 5,000 words. Please double-space your submission.
POETRY:
We publish poetry online and in our print annual. Please submit 3-5 poems.
VISUAL ART:
We publish visual art online and in print. Please note that the print journal is black and white throughout.
Also note that we are only interested in narrative visual art. If your art does not have a narrative, while we may find it lovely/entrancing, we probably won’t publish it.
For sequential and visual art, please send images.
For audio/video, please submit a link to your work. If the file in question is under 10MB, feel free to upload it using the submission form.
NOTE: If you are uploading multiple files, please do so in one submission (up to 5 images per submission). If you’re submitting a sequence of more than 5 images, please send a representative sample and/or send us a link to the full set.
BIOS:
Include a bio written in the third person. If you do not include a bio and we accept your work, we will make something up. It will be complimentary, but likely not factual.
RESPONSE TIME:
We respond to all submissions within four weeks.
PAYMENT:
All contributors with work featured in print issues will receive one contributor’s copy of the issue in which their work appears. There is no payment for online publication.
We read all submissions promptly and will contact you within three business days if we are going to publish your article. If you have not heard from us within three business days, please assume that we will not be able to publish your article.
LEGAL:
We reserve first printing rights, including publication in Precious Stones Magazine in both printed and ebook formats, and the right to excerpt portions of accepted work online in order to promote you, your work, and the journal. The copyright to your work is always held by you. If we publish your work on the website, we reserve first publication rights and the right to keep it here in archives indefinitely. All other rights remain property of the author. If you reprint any of your work which originally appeared in P.S.M., we ask that you acknowledge that fact.
